12" Sync 4 Pairing Phones Issue

12" Sync 4 Pairing Phones Issue

If the Sync 4 System keeps forgetting bluetooth paired phones after the vehicle is turned off, or is having difficulty pairing to the phone for Wireless Projection, then the System requires a "Master Reset" in the settings. The Master Reset will remove Ford Pass in the process.

When the Master Reset is performing, the screen will go black and there will be various beeping sounds that will come through the speakers. Do not be alarmed, this is a normal process. The screen will power back on after about a minute.

Once the Master Reset has been performed, the owner of the vehicle needs to Re-Activate Ford Pass, which may require removing and re-adding the vehicle to Ford Pass BEFORE Pairing a phone to bluetooth.

Ford Pass MUST BE ACTIVE for the Sync 4 System to work properly.
