Security Bypass Module location & instructions

 If you have a 2018+ Chrysler, Dodge, Ram or Jeep Vehicle, you will need to temporarily install a Security Bypass Module:   https://www.infotainment.com/products/fca-security-gateway-module-bypass

The security bypass module is plugged into the vehicle, before turning on the vehicle for programming and is needed or the OBD genie will not work correctly.

Security Module Bypass instructions:
  1. Locate the Security Module Bypass in the vehicle.
  2. Remove both connectors from factory Security Module. 
  3. Install both connectors temporarily into the Security Bypass Module that you received from us.
  4. Proceed to program the vehicle using the OBD Genie until you get a solid green light.
  5. Remove the Security Bypass Module and re-install the Security Module connectors to original configuration after programming is completed.

 Is the OBD Genie only flashing blue when attempting to program vehicle?
