First disconnect the battery, both batteries if the vehicle has two.
Next is locating the BCM to pin the cable from the hood latch harness.
The BCM is located to the left of, and behind the steering wheel.
You may need to remove the left sill and side cowl trim panel from the driver's side door area. This can be done with a pry tool.
After that you may need to disconnect and remove the amplifier to gain access to the BCM.
Lastly if you are not able to access the BCM, you will need to remove the park brake and rod, and disconnect the harness to the park brake.
Once that's done the BCM should be able to move down for easy access.
The BCM connector for this installation is the C1A, which is circled in white on the photo below. Next to the photo of the BCM is the pin layout for the connector that's being tapped into. Just tap into PIN 11, and then re-install everything back to factory.
