Compass Is Not Displaying
I
installed my radio and the compass feature is not working.
- If your vehicle has satellite radio ensure the
connector is plugged into the mustard colored FAKRA connector on the back
of the radio. Drive the vehicle for a few minutes until the compass links
to the GPS satellites.
- If your vehicle does not have satellite radio but has a
blue connector routed behind the radio you will need to interface it with
the mustard colored FAKRA connector on the back of the radio. Refer to our
U-INTC2K product. Once installed, drive the vehicle for a few minutes
until the compass links to the GPS satellites.
- If your vehicle does not have satellite radio and does
not have a blue connector routed behind the radio you can either purchase
our C-GPSY to obtain the compass feature only or our Dual Sirius Antenna
Kit to obtain both Satellite radio and the compass feature. Once
installed, drive the vehicle for a few minutes until the compass links to
the GPS satellites.
FYI - If your compass is
still having trouble linking to the GPS satellites then you can recalibrate it
by going to SETTINGS, COMPASS, select START.
