Custom Genuine MOPAR Tailgate Camera BCM Posi-Tap Guide
The installation of this kit does receive a lot of traffic for assistance. The installation of the whole kit itself is not necessarily difficult, but the part where the BCM is tapped into can be difficult.
The video below shows how to do it on a desk, but unfortunately the true installation of this section of the kit doesn't allow for the BCM to be moved, so the room is very limited in the wall of driver's side and can be a very tight fit.
The BCM is located here.
Below is the BCM as it is mounted in the vehicle. The connector for this installation is the C5E, circled in Blue.
PIN 45 (Which is an Orange and Dark Blue Wire) Is where the included cable on the loom will tap into.
