Denzo Additional Step For Voice Commands
Radio is not able to hear my voice commands
Some navigation Units Can Require an extra step to get the voice commands working properly.
VSS HARNESS
The above picture is what your brown VSS harness with the extra wiring will look like. The additional wires are the purple, and brown wires located in Pins #8, and #16.
RADIO HARNESS
The above picture is the connection you will find on the back of your actual radio towards the passenger side. The wires you will be using are located in Pin #2, and #9. The wires are normally Black in #2, and white with a black stripe in #9, but the colors can change depending on the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
You will be splicing the Purple wire on the VSS harness located in Pin #8 into the Black Wire on the Radio connection located in pin #2.
The Brown wire on the VSS harness in pin #16 will be spliced into the wire located at pin #9 on the Black connection, and will usually be white with a black strip.
Please keep in mind the color connection on the actual radio harness may change depending on vehicle, so the easiest way to tell will be to go by the pin location
