UConnect Updates for Apple Carplay/Android Auto-Supported Infotainment Systems

Software updates for FCA vehicles that have the Apple Carplay/Android Auto supported infotainment systems will occasionally contain a map package (map update) so this is you would update your maps for the models with onboard navigation. Not all updates will contain the map package and updates are not released during specific times of the year so a request must be made to Infotainment.com for update support.  The software updates are created by UConnect and have not been altered of changed in any kind of way.

Software updates are to be performed at your own risk.

The update is specific to the vehicle you drive and radio you have and can cause issues if not the specifically required update. Issues can include loss of navigation data base (MAPS MISSING), lose of rearview camera and various other unknown bugs that can occur.  so please call Infotainment at Ext 103 or email Dave@infotainment for any questions regarding updates for your individual unit.
