DIFFERENT VEHICLE LOGO AND MISSING ICONS
If you just installed your infotainment system and is getting a
different splash logo. For example; your vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler but the radio
shows Ram, that is completely normal and for all FCA vehicles. The radio will
eventually adjust itself, but it needs to sleep. That way the radio can
properly sync with the vehicle by retrieving the VIN and the information from
the BCM. For some vehicles it may take less than 30 seconds and for others it
may require the vehicle to sleep overnight or longer. However, doing a complete key cycle
or a few key cycles can help the process. Please refer to the steps below.
Key Cycles
•Stay in vehicle
•Close the door
•Remove the keys
•Wait until the headlights, dash lights, and radio turn completely off
•Start the vehicle
