Custom Genuine MOPAR Tailgate Camera BCM Posi-Tap Guide

When installing the Custom Genuine MOPAR Tailgate Camera upgrade, in order to obtain the dynamic guidelines, the BCM has to be tapped into.

For reference, here is a photo of all of the parts included with this kit, and where the connections go.

The blue cable with the pink posi-tap is the focus of this article. This posi-tap will be attached to the BCM connector C5/E, and the specific wire is going to be in PIN 45. The wire is Orange with a Dark Blue stripe.

The connector C5/E is the connector circled in Blue on the picture below. This will be the connector that will be tapped into for the dynamic guidelines. This is a stock photo, other circled connectors are for other upgrades that we offer that are not involved with this installation.

This video can assist. However, the true process of this procedure will be done inside the vehicle and not on a workbench.
