POWER FOLDING MIRROR: BLIND SPOT SENSOR STAYS ON
If you just installed the Power Folding Mirror with the blind spot feature but it wouldn't turn off then the BSS needs to be re calibrated. Please follow the steps below to calibrate the BSS.
Calibrating the BSS
To calibrate the BSS:
1. Drive the vehicle over 13 MPH (20 KPH) on a straight path for longer than one minute.
*Once this criteria is met, both mirror Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) will go from active to off and the DTC will store. The DTC can now be cleared.
