RADIO DOES NOT POWER ON AFTER I INSTALL MY UPGRADE KIT

If you installed your upgrade kit and notice that your radio no longer turns on please check the followings: 

1. If you received a C-INT-C4T (the big harness that connects to the radio and existing power harness) in your kit, make sure that the white 6 pin Molex stays connected. That cable is not connecting to anything in your vehicle however if you notice on the Molex there's a green and orange wire that loops back into the connector which along with the rest of the harness is used to transmit signals from and to the CAN. See picture below for illustration. 

2. Perform a Canbus Reset

      Can-bus reset: 

-Take the positive and negative cables off your battery

-Tap them together 

-(if you have a diesel, disconnect both batteries, then do one battery at a time then go to next step)

-Reconnect the cables to the battery.

-Let the vehicle sleep for 10-15 minutes

-Restart the vehicle with the engine running. 

-Test the unit 

3. Disconnect and reconnect the power harness behind the radio. 

4. Check your fuses. 

     For any upgrade it is recommended that you remove the negative cable off of the battery before installation. If you did not please check that you did not blow a fuse. 

If you've done all the following above and the radio still doesn't turn on. Disconnect the upgrade kit and re-install the original parts to see if you still have that issue. If so, please contact your local dealership. However, if the radio works fine with the original part installed please contact support by creating a ticket.
