RAM Wireless Charger - Power Inverter Outlets Not Working
RAM Wireless Phone Charger Listing
When installing the wireless charger kit, the included harness requires you to pin to connector C5/E on the BCM. The pin is number 45, and may already have an Orange wire with a dark blue stripe. If you de-pin the orange wire from the BCM and tap the wire from the kit directly to pin 45, you will accidentally cut linbus communication. This will result in the inverter outlets not functioning, as well as potential other issues related to linbus communication.
Instead of removing the wire from pin 45, simply splice the wire to the populated wire at pin 45. This can be done by stripping the wire and soldering, or as easy as using a posi-tap if you do not have soldering experience.
