Time won't set for non-Nav Sync 3

Despite not having navigation programmed to the APIM module, for the non-Nav version of Sync 3 upgrades, all APIMs use a GPS antenna to set time. If time will not stay, when set, check your GPS antenna and make sure it's plugged into the circular-pinned plug behind the APIM.
