UAQ UAS UAV UAX Acclimation

UAQ UAS UAG Acclimation Period upon Installation

Any of the Uconnect 4 series radio units, such as the UAQ, UAS, UAG, UAV and UAX will require an acclimation period when first installed.

Certain features may not be present until the acclimation period has ended, or odd activity can occur. Acclimation generally completes over a few hours or may take overnight.

If these symptoms show upon immediate installation, please leave the radio in the vehicle and turn the vehicle off and allow a sleep cycle (Leaving the vehicle alone with the newly installed radio with the vehicle off for a period of time).

  1. Sirius XM Icon is not present below AM and FM
  2. Rear Camera does not activate when shifting to reverse
  3. Wrong splash screen on start-up (It may say Jeep when the vehicle is a RAM)
  4. Radio might say "Radio Locked" on the display
  5. The radio may act like a ghost is touching the screen
